Special Education
Caring for students with unique needs
We offer a wide variety of services and learning experiences to support students with disabilities - from birth to age 22 - at no cost to families. Instruction is designed to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability. As much as possible, we strive to deliver necessary services to the student in the neighborhood school. In few occasions, students may need to be placed in another school site where more services are available.
Our services include home-based services for infants and toddlers, specialized, small group instruction, instruction in the general education classroom and off-site instruction as determined by the student's individual education planning (IEP) team.
